Leather Care

Full-grain leather is a living material. Cared for gently, it darkens and softens into a patina unique to you.

Everyday habits

Wipe your bag with a dry, soft cloth after use. Avoid resting it on the floor, and rotate between bags so the leather can rest and recover its shape.

Cleaning

Blot spills immediately — never rub. For marks, use a barely damp cloth with cold water and allow to air dry away from direct sun and heaters. Do not use alcohol, wet wipes or household cleaners.

Conditioning

Apply a neutral leather conditioner every three to six months, in a thin layer with a soft cloth. Test on the underside of the base first. Suede and raffia should be brushed, not conditioned.

Water & sun

Leather and rain are not friends. If your bag gets wet, pat it dry and let it dry naturally. Prolonged sunlight will fade dyed leather, so store away from windows.

Storage

Keep your bag stuffed with tissue or a soft cushion inside its dust bag, upright, in a cool and dry cupboard. Never store in plastic — leather needs to breathe.
